In exchange, everyone must follow strictly scheduled routines and dedicate themselves to a carefully curated entertainment program. Whoever breaks out of their treatments risks everything, because suddenly they have time. In the cyberfantasy performance Neusferatu by the Junges Schalktheater, co-directed by Michel Blaser and Benjamin Burger, the ensemble follows the call of eternal life. In times when the super-rich work on conquering death and become modern vampires, the group asks themselves how fairly lifespan is distributed in society and what kind of world immortality would lead to. «Neusferatu – never-dead» is a production of the Junges Schalktheater. The inclusive theatre programme of Schalktheater enables young people and young adults to explore their own topics together with professional theatre artists and bring them to the stage.
