Four years after No 1 (Number 9 on the Swiss album charts), the vocal pop band from Lucerne presents their third studio album: Hitz. Musically, Vocabular is more versatile than ever: the new album ranges from rousing gospel and introspective pop to upbeat bossa nova and heartfelt ballads, plus self-ironic schlager and catchy Alpine pop – all a cappella, of course. With their unmistakable sound, the six singers masterfully unite these different genres with powerful voices and infectious energy. As always with wordplay and a wink. With their music, the group has repeatedly garnered media attention far beyond the a cappella scene and is now among the country's most successful vocal bands.
