Youkali (CH) Surrounded by stories, the moon has so far belonged only to dreamers – and to itself. But what if humans land on the moon again, if it is conquered and permanently inhabited – will humans own the moon in the future? Three performers and a musician embark on a visually rich journey into space and explore unusual future utopias between facts and fantasy. Using the moon as an example, questions of ownership and territorial claims are raised and reflections made on how humans treat their environment. ON THE MOON is a piece by Cie. Youkali for young audiences: The project combines performing arts with scientific content. Interdisciplinary with aerial acrobatics, dance, physical theatre and live sound, complex questions are conveyed physically, playfully and interactively. School performances On 26 and 27 October at 10:00, school performances of ON THE MOON will take place. Reservations for school performances are made directly through Schule+Kultur and schulkultur.
