Humorous, physical and captivating, the piece explores anger as a force that makes change possible. On a stage that resembles a strange office, two angels encounter human anger. Two angels appear in an odd office world. Through movement and voice, they challenge the idea that women and femme people should suppress their anger. In the process, surprising encounters emerge with the stage, the audience and each other. anger angels (ETERNAL LETDOWN) feels like a massage you didn't know you needed: both irritating and soothing. With humor and irony, Rodríguez and Vittucci transform anger into something unexpected. They float, sing in invented languages and make office objects resonate. Or have you ever heard a keyboard and a hole punch make music together? The piece takes anger – especially the anger of women and femme people – seriously and removes it from the notion that it is irrational or dangerous. It invites you to explore what burns beneath the surface and to experience anger as a force for healing and change.
