What could be more fitting than to travel back in time to when the kauz didn't even exist yet, and to launch a new concert series dedicated entirely to live jazz? Yes, you heard right. Our nest was once the home of 𝐵𝑎𝑧𝑖𝑙𝑙𝑢𝑠, a jazz club with its own history. We do not want to reconstruct this history, but rather, together with the Zurich Half Notes collective, bring something of its spirit back into the space: make jazz accessible to a new audience, provide musicians with a platform and bring jazz and nightlife together. The opening act on 5 November features a trio with Paul Amereller on drums, Xaver Rüegg on double bass and Leandro Irarragorri on piano. Over the course of the season, four more evenings will follow when we bring live jazz back to the nest. _____ Start: 19:30 Tickets: 10.- at the door
