As president of the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom, Edith Ballantyne found her calling. Alongside the United Nations, she shaped international peace work and mobilized millions of people for disarmament. Shaken by the escalation in Ukraine and the Middle East, she calls together with committed activists for dialogue. After the screening, there will be a conversation with director Fabian Chiquet. Included in the ticket is an alcohol-free welcome drink from RamRam Bar. A woman who still demonstrates for peace at 100 years old. Librarians fighting for the right to read. A girl who refuses to be deported. As part of Let's Doc and our series on democracy, we present five documentaries about people who want a different future.
