As one of the most significant spiritual masters of the 20th century, he paved the way for the timeless wisdom of Tibetan Buddhism to reach the modern Western world. Director Marta György-Kessler captures in touching, partly unpublished footage the unshakeable connection between teacher and students. The film follows the historic journey of his close Western students Hannah and Lama Ole Nydahl – a living transmission of wisdom that transcends borders and lifetimes.
