The programme features two works brimming with musical energy, virtuosity, and youthful dynamism. At the center stands Ludwig van Beethoven's Triple Concerto for Violin, Violoncello, and Piano. The three solo instruments engage in a lively dialogue, combining their individual tonal possibilities into a virtuosic whole. Trio Aeneas with Daniel Kagerer (violin), Gabriel Wernly (violoncello), and Charlotte Dentan (piano) promises a nuanced and spirited performance. Juan Crisóstomo de Arriaga's Sinfonia in D is a work of classical clarity with ever-new youthful ideas. The composer is also known as the "Spanish Mozart" – born to the day 50 years after Mozart and died young. Two works, two musical worlds – an evening of concerts full of color and joy of performance.
